An introduction to management information systems that focuses on emerging technologies and examines how programs such as Microsoft Office can be used in making business decisions. There is a heavy emphasis on Excel as students format and modify worksheets, use advanced formulas, and create charts and pivot tables. Requires overall GPA of 2.0.

    95-99% online. 2.0 GPA required. Any course exams will be administered at the UWG Carrollton campus free of charge (midterm - Fri. September 27, 2019, 10:00-11:15 AM, Miller room 2327/28; final - Fri. November 8, 2019, 10:30 AM-1:00 PM, Miller room 2327/28). Alternatively, students can choose to take the exams at an approved off-campus testing site (for a fee paid to that site -- fees may vary anywhere from $10 to $50 or higher). All off-campus testing requires both approval and the instructor needs to be notified during the first week of classes.
