Accelecom will be performing emergency maintenance on the Northwest Ring at TELX and KEN. No other changes to the scope or services affected have been designated by Accelecom at this time. No outages are expected and services on the Northwest Ring will run in protect.

This maintenance will occur on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. until Wednesday, April 17 2024, at 7:00 a.m.

PeachNet Network Scheduled Switch Maintenance - University of Georgia Apr 16, 2024 23:00 - Apr 17, 2024 03:00 EDT

Network Support Services (NSS) will be adjusting the ITS UGA switch reserved vlans and enabling jumbo frames. Brief service interruptions may occur during switch reloads. Switches will be updated one at a time to limit interruptions. This maintenance will occur Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. until Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 3:00 a.m.

Services affected: ITS UGA Boyd Services may experience brief service interruptions.

Scheduled - Network Support Services (NSS) will be temporarily replacing previously removed data switches from the Shared Services Center in order to correct a new hardware configuration error with some network interfaces. This is an emergency maintenance to ensure backups of SSC resources are performed properly.

This maintenance will occur on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. until Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 2:00 a.m.

There will be a short duration interruption of SSC Avamar backups and Data Domain Services. There should be no end-user interruptions or impact. The window duration reflects that NSS is doing this work on an emergency basis and we don't know the exact time we'll have necessary resources on-site.

Scheduled - Network Support Services (NSS) will be replacing end-of-life datacenter switches with new hardware. This maintenance will occur on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. until Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 7:00 a.m.

No impact to users at SSC is expected, as the switches being replaced are outside the data path for user access. The services that are behind the switches being replaced in the SSC datacenter (primarily Data Domain and Backup Replication) will be unavailable, potentially for the duration of the maintenance.

This maintenance will occur from Monday, April 1, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. until Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 7:00 a.m.

This is a minor update and the redundant firewalls in each pair will be updated sequentially to avoid any downtime.
