Students will have the option of obtaining a 2-year certification upon successful completion of CPR and First Aid knowledge and skill requirements.

This course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life, reduce pain, and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives. Various skills and procedures for first aid and CPR. Course taught 95-99% online using CourseDen and one face-to-face meeting on Friday, February 26th from 9:00-12:30pm in COLSM room 2105. Students must have Internet access. Students should check CourseDen on the first day of class for assignments.
