This course expands on an earlier Curriculum and Methods class to focus on planning, curriculum, instructional strategies, and management pertinent to secondary education and transition programming for learners with severe disabilities. Self-determination and self-advocacy are among the specific topics addressed.

Technology is used to deliver 50 percent or less of class sessions and student meets minimally one time per week in class. Segments of the class attend the classroom on a regular scheduled rotation based on classroom capacity with social distancing. Students will be notified of their attendance requirements prior to the first day of class by the instructor.
